What we collect

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how people use the site — pages viewed, general location, device type, and which outbound links are clicked. This is used to improve the content, not to identify you personally.
• Contact form. If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you submit, solely to reply to you. We don't add you to a marketing list.
• Server logs. Like all websites, our host records standard technical data (IP address, browser, timestamps) for security and reliability.

Cookies and affiliate links

Google Analytics sets cookies to measure usage. When you click an outbound product link, the retailer (primarily Amazon) may set its own cookie to attribute a resulting purchase to us — this is how affiliate commission works, and it's explained on our affiliate disclosurepage. Those third-party cookies are governed by the retailer's own privacy policy. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal data. We don't run our own advertising network or ad-retargeting. We don't require an account, and there is nothing to log into.

Your choices

You can opt out of Google Analytics with the official browser add-on, use your browser or device privacy controls, and clear cookies whenever you like. To ask what contact data we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email info@basenoteclub.com.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from them.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. Material changes will be reflected here on this page.
